Description
Clump forming habit. Purplish, oat-like flower bracts line one side of erect, wiry stems. Grows well anywhere, but prefers full sun to partial shade. Birds love the ripe seeds. Height: 2.
Seedlings come in 3 1/8″ bio-degradable pots.
A word about native plants: perennial plants, often with deep roots. Transplant them carefully as they dislike root disturbance. They are slow growing, and will not flower until the second year or later.
