Showy Beardtongue

Description

Large flowers covering much of the stem with a range of color from white, to pink to violet and purple. Blooms May to July. Prefers full sun to partial shade and medium-dry to dry soil. Short-lived perennial. Height: 2′. Seedlings come in 3 1/8″ bio-degradable pots.

A word about native plants: perennial plants, often with deep roots. Transplant them carefully as they dislike root disturbance. They are slow growing, and will not flower until the second year or later.
