Description
Numerous yellow daisy-like flowers with a brownish-purple center blooming from July through September. Prefers full sun and well drained soil. Easy to grow, drought tolerant once established. Spreads undergrounds through rhizomes forming mounded colonies. Birds love the mature seeds. Height: 3′.
Seedlings come in 3 1/8″ bio-degradable pots.
A word about native plants: perennial plants, often with deep roots. Transplant them carefully as they dislike root disturbance. They are slow growing, and will not flower until the second year or later.
