Blooms ranging from shades of pink to blue delighting gardeners for a few short weeks in April or May. Prefers full to partial shade and moist soil. Goes dormant in drought. Self-seeding perennial, also spreads by rhizomes. Height: 12″.
Seedlings come in 3 1/8″ bio-degradable pots.
A word about native plants: perennial plants, often with deep roots. Transplant them carefully as they dislike root disturbance. They are slow growing, and will not flower until the second year or later.
